Candidates are responsible for:

  • Guiding customers through tasting product and describing each beer in detail.
  • Answering questions about the brewery, the beers, our philosophy and much more.
  • Operating point-of-sale system and cash register.
  • Efficiently filling crowlers.
  • Moving 150lb kegs and cases of beer potentially long distances.
  • Operating and troubleshooting draft equipment.
  • Maintaining tasting room cleanliness and organization at all times.
  • Setup and breakdown of tasting areas each shift.
  • Restocking merchandise & par inventory levels, stocking crowlers, and maintenance of retail displays.

Desired qualifications / abilities:

  • A passion for the industry and basic knowledge of beer.
  • Timeliness, courteous, friendly, team player and trustworthy.
  • Ability to accurately describe beer flavors and characteristics to others.
  • Tendency to clean excessively, and remain organized at all times.
  • Retail and/or bartending experience preferred, tasting room experience is a plus.

Civil Society Brewing Co. is looking for an experienced, Brewer with quality and integrity to join the team.  The ideal candidate should have at least two years of professional brewing experience – a formal brewing education is a plus.  Responsibilities include all facets of the brewing process including wort production, cellaring operations, and some packaging duties.  The successful applicant will have a rigorous approach to quality standards and an unconditional commitment to making exceptional beer.


This is a very hands-on position. Flexibility with schedule is needed. The candidate must be able to multi-task efficiently, problem solve, and work well with others and independently. Thorough knowledge of process, quality, and ingredients along with strong planning and organizational abilities are a must. Requirements:

  • Minimum two years of professional brewing experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Malt handling and wort production

Civil Society Brewing Co. is looking for a part-time Cellerperson to provide support to our brewing team with potential for full-time (for the appropriate candidate). We are looking for someone who has prior experience working in a brewery. Operation of canning machines is a major plus. Must be highly organized and very flexible. 

Job Duties:

  • Assist in the brewing process including, yeast management, transferring product between tanks and packaging products in kegs, cans and bottles.
  • Detailed record keeping including operation checklist, maintenance logs, and package records
  • Cleaning of  1/6 BBL and 1/2 BBL kegs
  • Help maintain a clean and organized brewery environment
  • A number of other varied operational and brewery related tasks as necessary.
  • Must be willing to lift heavy objects, work long days, and shift schedule.

Pizza Maker/line cook needed for new pizza concept opening in the heart of jupiter. Candidates must have prior pizza making experience and be able to demonstrate professional kitchen conduct. A servsafe certification is a plus. Duties include opening and/or closing, making dough, chopping vegetables and meats, making pizza on a production line and being able to operate a brick oven. Requirements for Job Scope:

  • Opening and Closing of the Taproom.
  • Inventory on all taproom items such as kegs, cans, merchandise, beverages for re-sale, glassware, cleaning items, etc. 
  • Weekly reporting on keg and can inventory and updating in Ekos
  • Setting up the cooler, managing release schedules as it pertains to the taproom, updating tap list, printed tap lists and online tap list
  • POS education and maintenance; adding and removing buttons for new beer and merchandise releases
  • General maintenance of bar and ensuring the taproom is clean and organized, cleaning beer lines weekly
  • Assist in scheduling of all bartending shifts
  • Coordinate daily customer service operations
  • Supervise and motivate staff to perform their best
  • Must have a willingness and ability to step in wherever needed - this could include bartending, cleaning, training, etc.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, primarily evenings and weekends

Position Summary:

Civil Society Brewing is looking for a full time Events/Social Media Manager to oversee event management in both our taprooms and to manage our social platforms on a day-to-day basis. We are looking for someone who is passionate about craft beer and has a creative knack. Must be highly organized, flexible and self-motivated.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Event management:

  • Coordinate with GM in planning and executing events.
  • Communicate with the local community and local businesses to generate interest in private parties.
  • Work with interested private parties to book event and negotiate event details.
  • Manage event schedule and ensure seamless execution.
  • Work with design team to create on-site marketing for event schedule.                                  

Social Media: 

  • Monitor social media platforms and interact with audience daily.
  • Manage all content including photos, videos, and written material.
  • Work with photographer to create content.
  • Create and manage marketing campaigns and day-to-day activities.
  • Post pictures of weekly new releases and other promotional content.
  • Update UnTappd with new, weekly releases.
  • Monitor current social media trends and implement accordingly.
  • Update website with events, beer releases and other content.
  • Provide and analyze metrics to increase and broaden audience.
  • Learn and maintain company culture/vibe in social activities.

Qualifications and Experience: 

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • In depth knowledge of social media platforms and their algorithms.
  • Proficient in Google Suites, Photoshop, Illustrator, Microsoft Word, etc.
  • Possess an understanding of traditional and non-traditional marketing.
  • The ability to present analytical information to supervisor.
